Alberta Vocational Centre: AVC offers vocational counseling, academic upgrading programs, business education and career training for typists, custodians, housekeepers and nursing assistants.
Mount Royal College: Mount Royal College
offers courses designed to prepare for transfer to degree granting institutions as well as
60 diploma/certificate courses.
Southern Alberta Institute of Technology: S.A.I.T. is a polytechnic institute operated by the Government of Alberta. Programs of one, two, three or four years duration are offered in technologies, art, business, health, sciences, tourism and food services.
University of Calgary: The U of C began in 1945 and continues to grow steadily. Faculties at the University offer degrees including Business, Education, Engineering, Environmental Design, Fine Arts, Graduate Studies, the Humanities, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Education, Science, Social Science and Social Welfare. In addition, the University maintains a medical school at the Foothills Hospital, and Environmental Science Centre in the Kananaskis Provincial Park, and a Cosmic Ray Laboratory on Sulfur Mountain.
